Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dedicated Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Salisbury, MD. This contract position spans the current school year, starting ASAP and continuing through June 10, 2026. Candidates will primarily serve one elementary school, providing essential OT services to support students developmental needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering occupational therapy interventions tailored to students in a K-12 educational environment
- Collaborating with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitoring and documenting student progress and adjusting therapies accordingly
- Supporting students to enhance their functional skills for academic success
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience working in school settings
- Proven ability to manage caseloads averaging 35-40 billable hours per week
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, staff, and parents
- Knowledge of K-12 educational systems and therapy integration within schools
Location: Salisbury, MD service provided at a local elementary school
This role is a contract position for the entire school year, offering a focused caseload and consistent work schedule.
